Editorial Bioethical Policies

SEG follows the bioethical policiesto ensure protection and proper use of animals and human in all forms of research.

In case of authors dealing with studies involving human participants, authors must include a statement that consent has been obtained from each patient or their legal guardians with his/her knowledge of understanding purpose and nature of procedures and also include that appropriate ethical approval has been received from an ethics committee. Its need to follow recognized standards such as Declaration of Helsinki; US Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects; European Medicines Agency Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice

For experiments with animals, explain how research using animals is conducted responsibly. Researchers must treat them with compassion and consider their well-being while designing the projects. The manuscript is liable to reject, if the research is found to be inconsistent with commonly accepted norms of using animals and human subjects.

According to World Health Organization and Declaration of Helsinki, clinical trials should be registered prospectively, before participants are enrolled for industry best standards.
