María S. Alvarez currently works in Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Vigo (Spain) as Posdoctoral research keeping a close collaboration with Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Princeton University (US). Her main current research line is focused in the development of eco-friendly process to obtain biodiesel from waste vegetable oil and catalysis treatments as well as evaluate biocompatible platforms for extracting pollutants and value-added chemicals.
