Professor Weimin Sun is the dean of the College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Harbin Engineering University, China. He is the Vice-Chairman of Physical Society and the Vice Chairman of Optical Society, Heilongjiang Province, China. He has authored and co-authored more than 200 journal and conference papers and 30 patents. His research interests include astrophotonics, biophotonics, fiber integrated components, and optical sensors. He worked on fiber X-ray sensors since 2014 and did a series of experiments and theoretical researches.
