Prof. Cieslar completed his M.D., Ph.D and Ass. Prof.(internal medicine) from Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. He is a full professor since 2013. He has vast experience in different areas of modern internal and physical medicine, to name a few: cardiology, angiology, balneology, physiotherapy, basic mechanisms of biological action and clinical applications of various physical factors, etc. and in environmental health. Since 1985, 125 papers published in Polish national and international peer-reviewed journals, 10 monograph books and 25 chapters in books. He was participant of several research grants from Polish National Science Committee, and Ministry of Science and Education, dealing with clinical efficacy of new medical devices. Prof. Cieslar won 13 Scientific Prizes of the Rector of Medical University of Silesia and Medal of the Commission of National Education. He is editorial board member of 3 International and 7 National Journals and reviewer for 28 journals.
