NOTE TO AUTHORS

Scientific Eminence Group is committed to work for contributing high quality research content with clear transparency and ethical values to the scientific community.

Journal publication is a direct reflection of the quality of the work, effortsby authors and the institution’s reputation that support them. So, we suggest authors to submit only papers that havescientific merit after thoroughproof read and polished. Before submission, please make sure that article is prepared and structured as per below mentioned article structure to ensure fast processing and publication.

SEG Journals accept Original research articles, Survey/Review articles which provide a comprehensive review on ascientific topic. Case report articles, Short communications, mini reviews, Editorials.

Authorship implies the responsibility and accountability of published work. Corresponding author should take the responsibility of article submission and ensuring the authorship of coauthors,ethics committee approval, conflict of interest, disclosure forms, approval of final manuscript and communicating with journal assistant managing editor throughout the publication process. contributors credited as authors based on the substantive intellectual contributions to the paper. List and order of authors understand their role in taking responsibility and being accountable for publishing work. List the order and contribution of authors carefully before submission. Any addition, deletion or rearrangement of author names in the authorship list should be made only before acceptance of the article and will not entertain after acceptance and publication.

Language preference and translate

SEG Journals accepts article in only English language (American or British). If authors wish to submit any of their native language articles, request to translate in English and proof read by a native English speaker or professional to avoid grammatical or spelling mistakes.

Submission format and type

SEG Journals welcome authors to submit their manuscripts in Microsoft Word document, PDF, Rar file or Zip file by archiving all documents such as cover letter, tables and figures, supplementary data etc.

Manuscripts should not contain more than 10,000 words for full length research, review articles. Figures are limited to 15 and No more than 65 referencesas recommended by the journal.Be submit the manuscript in correct file type, ie. document in an editable Word format. Figures can be submitted in .jpg, .tiff, .png, PowerPoint and make sure to have high resolution for better appearance. Be aware that the combined size all files should not exceed 50 MB.

For the quality, efficiency, and transparent editorial process, submitted manuscripts will first be screened by managing editor for the basis of its originality, importance, interdisciplinary interest,elegance,manuscript fits the journal’s aim and scope etc. There might be a chance to manuscripts get rejected at this stage, which doesn’t have insufficient quality, outside the scope of the journal.

Double Blind rigorous Peer review policy

Prequalified manuscripts which meet the minimal criteria for publication are assigned to independent expert reviewers who is having parallel research interest to assess the scientific quality of the paper and throughout the process, both the referee and author remain anonymous. Corresponding Editor is responsible for the final decision of manuscript acceptance or rejection based on review comments and novelty of the manuscript.SEG editorial office and Journal editor in chief will regularly monitor overview of performance indicators, such as totalnumber of received manuscripts and the acceptance and rejection ratio.

Manuscript preparation and structure

Cover letter: cover letter should be addressed to the journal editor in chief or corresponding Journal assist managing editor who is in communication with the author. It should contain manuscript title, author’s contact information and their content, any conflict of interest, originality of the manuscript, bio ethical information, statement of not under consideration with other Journal, suggested journal editor name, no of words in the manuscript.

Title Page: It contains the essential information such as article title, author name and affiliations, abstract, corresponding author up to date contact email and number.

Abstract: Abstract should briefly state the purpose of research, principal results and conclusions without exceeding 180 words. It shouldn’t contain any references.

Keywords: keywords are key terms (catchwords), those used in particular research. Maximum 15 keywords are suggestable. Title, keywords and abstract plays vital role to find the article online through browsing. So, ensure to provide clear and unique manner.

Abbreviations: Define abbreviations by separating each one with the symbol of “;”. Make sure to capitalize each starting letter in an abbreviation.

Introduction: It is a brief review of the literature which should be pertinent to the theme of the paper. The introduction should state the objectives of the study and provide an adequate background, by briefly reviewing relevant knowledge of the subject. It should also set subject in the context of previous research, citing relevant references.Introduction describing the paper’s significance and should provide sufficient background information to make the article intelligible to readers in all disciplines.

Materials and Methods

This section contains adequate details that include materials and instruments used, chemical and their sources, reagents and hormones,composition of buffers, solutions and culture media,usedsoftware, equipment, followed procedures and appropriate methodology etc. References be cited when known methods have been adopted. References should comprise the author names, year, experimental design and techniques with experimental area and institutional or previously published Journal name.

Discussion

Thissectionshould discuss the significance of the results, work and compare them with previous work using relevant references. Extensive citations and discussion of published literature is not recommended. Provide a clear presentation of experimental results obtained, highlighting any trends or points of interest.

Results: The results section is a detail,discretion of main findings and outcomes of research work. Tables and graphs, histograms can be used to present when the information cannot be given satisfactorily in the general presentation. All tables and figures should be cited in numerical order and should have captions. Sufficient context that the significance of the experimental findings is clear. If required Results and Discussion sections can be combined to avoid repeat results presentation.

Conclusion

The key findings of the study should be presented in the conclusion section. It should reflect the findings, Significance of the research implications, importance and future scope, limitations of the study and also it should state the interpretation of results. If the findings are preliminary, state and recommend future studies that need to be carried out. Finally, mention practical implications of research and how this work contributes to the overall field of study.

Acknowledgments and funding support

This section provides an opportunity to state gratitude and acknowledging the efforts of any participants who are not included as authors of the manuscript. It might be any individuals who helped in the laboratory during the research work, writing assistance in literature and proofing, English, grammar corrections, data assistance. If there is any funding grant number or funding body, acknowledge it in a separate section with the heading of funding support. Acknowledgements of people, grants, funds, should be placed before the reference section.

References/Citation in text

References contain all key sources in the field as well as previous studies that support or motivate the present work. So, make sure to Include all references that have been cited in the text in the reference list (and vice versa). It shouldn’t exceed more than 65 and they should have proper number series with a Journal mandate format like author names (year) title. journal short name vol number: Page numbers. Inline references are not allowed in the content and mention corresponding reference number in the content of the article instead of author name and year. References to unpublished materials and personal communications are not recommended in the reference list.

Appeals

SEGallows the authors to appeal for their rejected article. Authors can appeal an editorial decision by sending a rebuttal letter to the corresponding journal managing editor. Rebuttal letter should have detailing the reasons for the appeal such as specific responses of disagree with any of the editor’s and/or reviewers’ comments, provide any new information or data that take into consideration for further evaluation, evidence of reviewer fault and technical errors or include any conflict of interest.Appeals will be considered by the Editor-in-Chief, with the coordination of concern Editorial Board Member, reviewers who handled the paper. Editorial office may confirm their decision to reject the manuscript, invite a revised or modified manuscript, or seek additional peer- or statistical review of the original manuscript. Decisions on appeals are final.

Supplementary Data

Supplementary data is nothing but a supporting material which is relevant to the article content and not necessary for inclusion nevertheless benefit the reader. Unpublished material that is additional or complementary and directly relevant to the article content,but are too lengthy to be printed with the manuscript can be submitted as Supplementary Material. Lengthy supplementary data with many images and table will have additional charges and we allow limited supplementary data without additional charges.

Withdrawn policy

SEG is committed to maintain publication ethics while providing dedicated and quality services to the authors. We expect our authors to comply with, best practice in publication ethics as well as in quality of manuscripts and generous behavior. We strictly do not tolerate parallel submissions. There are Many instances exist where author sends unethical withdraw request which results in wastage of precious resources and as well efforts and time of editors, reviewers, and the editorial staff.

We don’t allow authors to play an unethical practice of withdrawing the article after acceptance to submit in another journal publishersby misusage and the waste of our editorial services and reviewer resources. An advanced stage in the editorial process, when peer reviews were near completion was unacceptable unless there are compelling reasons.

Submitting author or corresponding author is supposed to read and aware allinformation about journal publication at the official journal homepage and agreed with all co-authors while submitting the manuscript.

Withdrawn request will not be allowed for the accepted manuscript, whether it is in a galley proof stage or earlier version of it and article processing charges will not be refunded, if paid by the authors.

If authors ignore the communication from the editorial office or don’t respond properly in time, even after multiple reminders, at any stage of article publication process, SEG Journals holds all rights to disclose the conduct of the authors and the content of the manuscript without further approval and intimation from the authors to avoid fake submission and SEG will not responsible for any further consequences.

We do follow ethical misconduct policy and will take legal actions accordingly, in case of finding any scientific misconduct, false submissions, fake claims of authorship, reviewer biasing, fraudulent use of data or research misconduct, duplication of published articles. In order to withdrawal of a manuscript authors need to submit an "SEG manuscript withdrawal Form", signed by all authors mentioning the reason for withdrawal to the Editorial Office. Withdrawn will not be confirmed unless author receives appropriate notification from the SEG editorial office. Withdrawal of a manuscript will be permitted only for the most compelling and unavoidable reasons.

Authors can only withdraw the manuscript within two days from the submission date without paying any withdrawal penalty (or) processing charges. In case of withdrawal of manuscript, when it is under peer review process or in the production stage of different formats, ready to publish or published online; then authors need to make a withdrawal penalty (or) minimum processing charges.

In a case of editorial process delay in the review process of the article for more than two months, then authors can withdraw the article without any charges.

It is the responsibility of the authors to promptly notify to editorial office or editors about the errors and cooperate with them to withdraw or correct the submitted manuscript.

Editorial BioethicalPolicies

SEG follows the bioethical policiesto ensure protection and proper use of animals and human in all forms of research.

In case of authors dealing with studies involving human participants, authors must include a statement that consent has been obtained from each patient or their legal guardians with his/her knowledge of understanding purpose and nature of procedures and also include that appropriate ethical approval has been received from an ethics committee. Its need to follow recognized standards such as Declaration of Helsinki; US Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects; European Medicines Agency Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice

For experiments with animals, explain how research using animals is conducted responsibly. Researchers must treat them with compassion and consider their well-being while designing the projects. The manuscript is liable to reject, if the research is found to be inconsistent with commonly accepted norms of using animals and human subjects.

According to World Health Organization and Declaration of Helsinki, clinical trials should be registered prospectively, before participants are enrolled for industry best standards.
