Sandip Mondal is an assistant professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, School of Health and Medical Sciences, Adamas University, Kolkata, India. He received his Bachelor of Pharmacy at Gupta College of Technological Sciences, Asansol, West Bengal, India, his M.S. (Pharm.) in Biotechnology at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Ahmedabad, India, and his Ph.D. at the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal, India. He did his postdoctoral research work in the department of chemistry at Sun Yat-sen, Guanzhou, China. He also worked as a research and teaching assistant in the Department of Environmental Engineering and Science at the Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen, China. His research key areas include solid-phase microextraction, adsorption, biochar, waste valorization, and pharmaceutical detection from various matrices.
