I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Chemistry from Faculty of Science, Cairo University, and M. Sc. in animal genetics from Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, Ph. D. degree in Molecular Genetics from Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University. I participated in many international and local research projects. I’m an active reviewer for multiple international journals. I’m a member in several scientific societies. I had one granted patent from Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt. I had several records in genbank. I participated in many international publications with various research areas including identification of disease associated genetic markers in livestock, measurement of heavy metal pollution in cultured fish, characterization and identification of natural antimicrobial peptides and genetic diversity and the current research is focused on Complementary and Alternative Therapies for different Diseases. Skilled  in PCR, gel electrophoresis, restriction digestion, SSCP, DNA Sequencing, SNPs detection, DNA and RNA isolation, gene expression, bioinformatics.
